Editing HeadBody Nifs

Is it at all possible to do this? Make simple tweaks to the models without adding/removing polys and such...

I'm working on a race mod and need to make some changes to the head and ear models. I'm stuck right now on the mod since I am not sure if I can work with those models yet...

i'm assuming whatever changes you make to the head will also have to be made to every possible chargen morph, which is why i would guess no one has done it yet.

That's only if each chargen morph has it's own standalone model which I doubt since Skyrim still uses Facegen technology for character faces...

So now I'm wondering, since there's no way to import Skyrim .nifs into Blender yet, if there's any other way I can make my adjustments to the head model. I doubt I'm talented enough to model a new head model, rig, and whatever else it would need so that's really not an option...

Really don't like the way the CK feels so rigid and jumbled in terms of races and race assets either. Before, with the power of Facegen, I could lock the default look of my race in the race tab. Not anymore apparently... No, this time it requires more advanced techniques even though Skyrim still uses Facegen...
