Eggs and Money?

Post » Fri Jun 01, 2012 11:53 am

Great Game! Got tired of shoot 'em ups so I picked this game up and just started wandering Skyrim. I am at level 12 and have to loot for the money but I can never carry all the goods back so I store it in an emptied mission and fast travel back and forth and sell it at a market. I looked for the guide but every place was sold out. Here are my questions.

1. Is there something called "eggs" that equals money and where can I find them?

2. I use an elven sword(fine) and will this get the job done in conjuction with potions and magic?

3. Working on "Barb College" down in the dungeons and can't get by the Circle Lock (3 outer rims and the inner lock) ? I do have the claw thingy for the inner lock. I try to back track out with the loot but I am stuck because there is water in the tower and it is to high to get out of. Any suggestions?

Thanks for your time and good hunting

If you use the 3d item view in your inventory, you can rotate the claw to view the palm of it. You will then be able to see the necessary symbols for a specific door.

1. If there is something called Eggs that equal money I've never heard of it. Perhaps they meant you can find an Easter Egg in the game and get money? Easter Eggs aren't actually eggs but they're little secrets that the developers put into the game for the players to find.

2. Depending on what you're current level is in the game I think you're Elven Sword will do just fine for the time being. As you level up you have a better chance at finding much better weapons that do alot more damage. You can even enchant your weapon with something like Fire that will set your enemy ablaze on impact and it will do even more damage. The higher your level goes the more expensive and better items you will find like armor and weapons.

3. It's actually called the Bard's College. Bards are people who take the time to treat people a little nicer than you would normally see and they compose and recite heroic poems or songs, often while playing an instrument such as the Lute.

As for getting through that door with the sliding circle lock. Open up your inventory and go into the Misc. (miscellaneous) category. Find the dragon claw and click the button to zoom in on it. I don't know which button it is on the PC but for the Xbox you push down the Right Thumbstick. Then spin it around so you can see the palm of the claw. There will be three small symbols and these correspond with the certain door that the claw unlocks. The symbol closest to the claws is the top symbol on the doorway. Once you've figured it out spin the locks around so they're on the correct symbols then stick the dragon claw in where it goes and if done correctly the door should open right up revealing all the goodies within! There's plenty of these types of doors in Skyrim dungeons, each with their own dragon claw. Usually beyond these type of doorways is the last room in the dungeon which holds all the good stuff and most likely the thing you need to move on with your quest. Gather up all the stuff you want in here.

I hope that helps you out and if you need any further assistance with the game don't hesitate to ask. Good luck!
