Hey people. First time poster.
I'm trying to get the Elder Scroll, but for some reason I can't place the blank lexicon where it belongs. I keep pressing "E" to place it, but nothing happens. I can't "equip" it. Anyone else run into this problem?

Are you pressing E on the correct slot (can't say which, spoilers aren't allowed)? You don't need to equip the lexicon.

Yes, I'm sure of it. There's only one spot that asks you to place the lexicon.

It's been awhile since I've been where you are, I would try and find a Youtube video for that part of the quest and replicate what the player does.

Are you sure your looking at the right place? There should be a HUD pop up that tells you to place the Scroll, and IIRC, you do not look exactly at where you put it to get the HUD pop up.

I would go with the suggestion to find a Youtube video. I don't remember this being a problem. It has been a while since I have done this quest. Is the scroll supposed to go into the array or the pedastle?

I haven't got the scroll. That's what I'm trying to get, but to get it I have tp place the blank lexicon in a slot, then press a series of buttons to get the scroll. The YouTube video shows what's supposed to happen, but it's not working for me. When I get the HUD to place the lexicon, nothing happend when I press "E." I may have to restart this quest. This looks like a bug to me. Thanks for your help.

Yea that's right. I do remember the button combo was tricky to get. If you don't start on the correct one, it gets all messed up. I had made a save from just before the pedastle and it took a while to get it work.

Note, once you do get the scroll, make sure you grab the Lexicon off of the Pedastle, as you will be coming back otherwise and this trip is not so much fun that you want to do it twice.
