I've never actually purchased DLC or expansions to Elder Scrolls titles. How does it work? Do you have to start from ground zero, or will my current character that I am playing in skyrim be able to pick up and go through the new storyline/content added by the DLC?
I think near enough all beth DLC has just allowed your character to start it mid game. The only thing I have seen them do, not so much with elder scrolls but with fallout, is for the persons items to be taken off them, and then given back at the end

I really hate when they do that, especially when the DLC glitches and you have to uninstall it, losing all your items you gave away. That made me stop playing Fallout 3 cuz i was pretty pissed lol
