I tried to go to http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Skyrim yesterday to look something up..it said the US Government had shut down the site..Tried this morning and all that loads is a blank page. Sad, if this country has gotten that bad on censoring content.

The Elder Scrolls wiki is terrible compared to UESP (the original and the best), and the US government isn't actually blocking the site, it'sin protest of SOPA which you can discuss in the appropriate thread in General Discussion.

It didn't actually get shut down. That's a fake message used to protest SOPA/PIPA, two very broken laws going through the house and senate that could harm the internet. A lot of sites were protesting yesterday. There's a thread in general discussion if you want to read more about it.
