So today after fast traveling to Helios One, an unnamed NCR Ranger came up to me and gave me an NCR Emergency Radio. I did a couple missions for them along my way in the Wild Card missions. Is it because of the update that I got it? Because in my last game I only did NCR missions and did not get anything from them like that.

It seems that after you get a certain reputation, you have the chance to encounter this group. I encountered them fighting some Legion troops, that was kind of fun. I actually assumed it was because I helped their patrol out.

Wait, why is this in General?

Dont think so, I got my game on tuesday and I had the NCR radio by wed night. Unless they updated the game through steam while I was asleep.

I got this as well over in Fiend country stalking marks. No idea if it works, or even how to use it.

Not sure what I did to get it, but it's pretty sweet.

best to summon NCR people when fighting deathclaws.. LOL, that';s a real challenge!!!
