EmpireRebels quests and travels in towns ?

Post » Fri Jun 08, 2012 9:17 am

Hello Guys,

I have a question regarding the Empire/Rebels quests : today, i haven't still started these quests because i feared that for example, if i join the rebels and start their quests , i won't be able to travel and visit all the Empire towns (in the West part of the cart) because they belong to the empire and so i could be attacked by the guards for example. Is my fear legitimate or can i start the rebels quests and still be able to go into all empire cities to do their related quests ?

Thanks !

Town guards are different ; you can still visit any town without fear. Just not the military camps.

You can even fool around in Ulfric's palace wearing an imperial armor and he is cool with it.

Unfortunately, there is little you can do in this game that brings real consequences ...

To be honest, it wouldn't be fun then. Having to constantly watch what you are wearing is micromanagement, and IMO, not fun. I want to enjoy the game and not worry about being beat down just because my outfit clashes with the local attire.

It would make sense... Or at the very least joining either faction should limit your ability to go into another faction its towns... There is no reason why I should be able to speak to Tullius as a stormcloack supporter or Ulfric as an Imperial legion member... I think it would be better if the guards were hostile. Not necessarily based on armor but at least on faction.

to answer the OP: No, joining a faction won't limit what you're able to do, except for a few special and very short occasions.
