When I enable CrossFire mode, I get very bad stuttering, making the game near unplayable. I have to disable CF to allow the game to play smoothly. The issue seems to be the game itself and not a variable in the INI file. I've already set iFPSClamp=60 in the Fallout_default.ini issue, yet when more than one of my GPUs is doing the work, I get extreme stuttering, regardless of framerate. This occurs everywhere in the game, both indoors and out. Below is a DxDiag with my system specifications.

Not only with crossfire, my game is stuttering all the time... objects load too late and make it unplayable.

I don't have this issue, and I'm loading this off of my hard drive as opposed to my solid state. Everything loads pretty smooth, but there seems to be a lack of frame synchronization. This is much like what many players experience when they don't have iFPSClamp=60 set, yet it occurs on a far worse level the second CrossFire rendering is thrown into play.

Oddly enough, I didn't have this issue with Fallout 3 or Oblivion. Just putting iFPSClamp=60 makes the game run astoundingly smooth, minus the occasional physics slowdown in Oblivion from NPCs.

try defragmenting the directory. On steam right click on fallout new vegas---> properties ---> local files ----> defragment game cache

also try verifying integrity of the game see if that does anything. Also check to make sure your hard drive isnt starting to fail (right clicking on your hard drive from "my computer" screen should give you a diagnotic tool in vista or windows 7, not sure with xp)
