Enchant boots and gloves

Is it possible to enchant gloves and boots with the fortify magicka regen? Or increase magicka or destruction?

No, you can't. Go for a cowl/helmet, necklace, robe/armor, and rings. I don't know of anything else that can hold those particular enchants.

I deleted a post, because "LMGTFY" can be off-putting - people can come here to ask a lot of different questions about the game.

On Topic: The game seems to be pretty clear on what you can enchant different things with. I find that a bit annoying to be honest, as I like flexibility, but I suspect they did it to keep someone from making an OP armor set or something.

Absolutely correct. But they should have left that choice to they player. That is a reoccuring trend and should be an inherent freedom in an RPG - to create an artifact or a relic so powerful that you could conquer the world.

That doesn't mean your playstyle should mandate that you OP some gear, I know I wouldn't, this title all ready has enough difficulties with balances right out of the gate.

Thats a very funny thing to say, really, you claiming they had given more than a second to thinking if enchanting make things Op or not, it's already broken, so broken. :violin:

but less broken than Oblivion and Morrowind, you could make suits that would make the world unable to react to you so you could fall asleep in mid battle and sleep as long as you want and wake up just fine. In Morrowind you could get 100% reflect damage and would wake up to be victorious. Free destruction has nothing on that, though smithing can get you weapons that can one hit everything if you abuse it, still you would die if you fell asleep in battle.

Wasn't thinking of making it OP, but with robe of destruction and hood giving me the fortify magicka regen it would be nice if I could put some enchantment on my gloves and boots. Maybe an extra 10 points of magicka or something to make it relevant for my mage build.

An easy way to check is (on the PC) click on the item you want to enchant, then click on the enchants that you know. It gives you the entire list of enchants, but only those available for a specific item are highlighted, the rest are greyed out.

On the PS3 here so can't do that unfortunately. Is there some wiki page that lists the possible enchantments vs items?

Here's a link to the wiki that gives you what enchantments you can do on what items:

Meh... they got complaints from that in OB and MW - and in keeping with trying different things, they modified it in Skyrim. It's just not that big of a deal. I reserve "Broken" for something that is, well, broken, not for something I don't like.

Yes you can. You can choose a specific enchantment first and then check what items are available for that specific enchantment. And the opposite. This applies only to enchantments you already know, but checking a full list beforehand takes the fun out of discovering and finding enchantments.
