End of main quest question *spoilers* : V

I just defeated Alduin in Sovngarde and the main quest appears to be over. I did NOT kill Parthuunax, and he flew away.

Now, the Greybeards are nowhere to be found (maybe I just am missing them in High Hrothgar) and the Blades won't really talk to me now since I didn't kill Parthunax. Is this how the main quest ends? It seems sort of lackluster... Nothing has changed, you just defeat him and the quest is over?

I found the Graybeards in the meeting room where everyone met for the truce talks. They will talk about it being over and about how you might be remembered in history because of what you do now.

Yeah, thats the end. Congrats for saving the world...

The greybeards will probably be in the meeting hall in high hrothgar (the room with the massive table).

Yeah the end is incredibly underwhelming. It just sort of sputters to a stop.
