Energy Ammo

Why is it so hard to find ammo for energy weapons? i went to goodsprings (chet AND trudy), primm, and NCR outpost, and they all had like, 9mm, .308, 10mm, all sorts of conventional bullets, but out of all of those people, only chet and the chick from NCR outpost had ANY ammo at all for energy weapons, and it was just energy cells.

what gives? why is it so hard to find ammo for energy weapons through merchants? also, its hard to find enemies that use energy weapons too, cept fiends. they use a lot, but its not like fiends are everywhere.

Finding energy ammo is very easy! I think it depends on your lvl and where you look. At lvl 20 I went to vault 3 where the Fiends are and found plenty of energy weapons and ammo.

lol, i think my character is like, lvl 6 or so, so far. I just think that it shouldnt be an end game weapon set like it was in fallout 3.

Fallout 3 it was very easy to get. You just sell all the other gun stuff and buy it from merchants, since all merchants had it. It does seem harder to find here, though.
