Energy Ammunition Conversion Mod

Status: Beta

Description

A Mod for recycling and recharging energy ammunition (ECP/MF/SEC). All energy ammunition can be discharged. The converter saves the charges and gives back empty energy cells if the can be recovered. If a cell can't be recovered (depends on its charge type and luck), some Electronic Parts are created which can later be used to build new cells. Also the player can charge empty cells with the saved charges from the converter. So you can basicly convert all energy ammunition types into another, even bulk cells.

The mod seems to be done at the moment, if you have any ideas / suggestions about a missing parts, feel free to post it. I'm currently testing the mod for bugs and i will release it then.

Features
  • discharge ammo (done)
  • recharge ammo (done)
  • show current charge (done)
  • recipes for using scrap eletronic parts to create new cells (done)
  • convert scrap electronic parts to scrap electronics and vice versa (done)

Does/Should the mod require a minimum intelligence or science skill?

The discharge/recharge of the ammunition currently requires nothing but the ammunition. Only the chance to recover empty cells while discharging scales a bit with the repair or energyweapons skill at the moment. Building new cells requires at the moment a skill of 75 in repair or energyweapons or science.

Aside from building new cells, what's the difference between the current system?
You can change SEC, MFC and ECP into one another, with the workbench and science in Vanilla.

The change is that you retain the empty cells when discharging any cells, so you can reuse them later. Also you can recycle bulk cells and turn them into something useful.
