I have a question for everyone here regarding the Enhanced Dwarven Crossbow. I have enchanted mine with Shock Damage and Soul Trap. I have also noticed in the Hardware Support section of this forum that there is a known glitch in which the 50% decrease in Armor Rating never applies should you do this. Does anyone have any experience with this particular glitch? Does it seem to happen every time you enchant one? I have two version of the crossbow, one standard and the other enchanted, and I don't see any difference in the damage. However, I also know of no way to actually check the damage being done to my enemies to be certain.

No, it should work, equiping one adds an perk who reduce the armor damage reduction with 50% for all items with the crossbowenchanted keyword.
You could actually give a sword the keyword and it would ignore half of the damage reduction from armor.
