PC enthusiast are being left behind

Have you noticed that in recent years the elder Scrolls followers and Fallout followers that started with PC "Bethesda you remember us???" the ones that bought your games and helped in turn pay your bills and keep your doors open!! We are slowly but surely being forgotten. Instead of giving back to the PC gamers they are forgetting us by releasing X-box exclusive DLC...this is a rant but a well deserved rant as xbox and other consoles are the last on the bethesda bandwagon not the first. Those that have been with you the longest should have the special exclusive and first to get...but Noooo this is again a slap in our faces....add the consoles together and then subtract PC from your list of users and take a good hard look at your bottom line chunk people...you are shooting yourself in the foot by not going above and beyond for your PC market and in time that will in turn catch up to you. You are crippling your games by making them more console friendly and giving the PC gamer the frankenstein results. You are working backwards not forward. How much better could Skyrim had been...How much more could it have had. At least with Arena and Daggerfall even with some of the buggyness there was so much more for us as Pc gamers...Those 2 titles alone had tons of missions and content and enchanting and spell makeing was great never should have gotten rid of the spell making....literally could play for months and continue to get missions. Now we are relegated to content that appeals to the console and if we want anything extra we have to try and build it with the half broken tools that we get in a " creation kit" that the console ppl think works wonders and is awesome...what they dont see is how much effort the pc comunity has to put out to fix broken dialogue and edit voices and niffs etc etc to try and get more milage while we wait for a dlc that we should have already had. Or better yet...give us back the days of Arena and Daggerfall where we can continue to find quest with guilds and explore hundreds and thousands of places...Not to mention that the game hasnt worked properly for the PC family yet...we find work arounds for things that the company themselves should have done right to start with ie optimized to work smoothly on a PC with no hang time or pausing...and this happens on high spec machines not your mid to low end ...6+ core machines with plenty of horsepower and ram and video resources...and you have yet to fix the issues but xbox get its dlc...good grief charlie brown is Bethesda that blind or are they getting lazy on the PC people and just giving us more and more broken games with errors and freezing and bsod's and the list goes on and on...What gives and whats it going to take to get our games and what we pay for back to decent...love the graphics love the space ...but have you noticed ..THE LAST 3 GAMES YOU MADE WAS EDITED BY COMMUNITY MODDERS TO MAKE THE WORLD AND GRAPHICS WHAT THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN TO START WITH...BUT UNPAID MODDERS DID IT UNSUPPORTED BY BETHESDA AND SOME EVEN AS FAR AS FIXING THE TOOLS THEY WHERE GIVEN TO WORK WITH...not to mention our continued efforts to work around memory leaks and other issues that have risen...just take a long look at our user work arounds just to play a game we supported...for what...what do us the pc community and modding community get in return...hurry up and wait guys we will get around to you eventually....if we arent busy. Thanks for so little.

Hint: Any time your argument include a grievance being compared to a 'slap in the face', your argument's validity is highly questionable.

Why is this true? I don't know. But it's a law I rarely see broken.

Being around first does not entitle you to anything special.

The CK, whilst not perfect, is 100000x better than anything else for other games out there. The fact the console is enabled, and we have the tools to make plugins is entirely Bethesda's decision.

Also, the DLC isn't Xbox exclusive btw. It's just released 30 days earlier.

Doesn't that make it exclusive to xbox first? Excluding or not admitting other things. If it is avaliable now then how come xbox gets it first, it's an exclusive to xbox right now. Not trying to be weird or anything though xD

PC users get patches first, and the option of beta testing them. They get the option to use mods or create mods to change anything and everything about the game or add more to it. They have enchanced visuals over the console versions, and have more control over the character (see quickslots). Yet the only thing consoles have in comparision is DLC options.

Basically this is a whine thread by an irate PC owner who thinks they deserve preferential treatment.

This.

We console gamers had Dark Souls first yet we have to pay for the DLC. It svcks, but that's life. Deal with it.

Sorry, Bethesda can't hear you over the money they made with that deal with microsoft...and I fail to see how they are "shooting themselves in the foot" what are you going to do, get the entire PC community to boycott Bethesda? Good luck with that one.

Might be a valid argument, if the dlc was forever 360 exclusive.

It isn't.

There a forum for the Creation kit; you may be able to find solutions to your "half-broken tools". Some of the modders don't seem to be having a "half-broken tool" issues, with the mods that have been released so far.

This does seem to be mostly a rant, so now that its been posted, it can close.
