Apparently emails and encrypted passwords were obtained. I'm beginning to think that this could be the same group that hacked Sony earlier, as it's very odd to see both Codemaster's site be hacked and now Epic's.
I do find it interesting that there is such a intense amount of hacking going on lately and begin to wonder myself if it's not one group or related somehow. Either that or a large amount of hackers are just bored lately.
Who's next? I would say every company online is in danger of being hacked now that a lot of things are switching to online and it seems hackers are becoming more.... daring? (some word like that) I feel an ALL OUT Cyber war coming right around the corner. Of course there have already been some littler ones, but I have a feeling there is going to be a massive attack that is going to take place.
Nope, no one thinks of copycat crime. Not at all. Though in all honesty it's likely a combination of several groups, copycat syndrome, and then those people who had plans to hack anyways giving us this wave of hacking. There's no doubt other factors, but I think these are the major ones.

Any thoughts?
Well it could be the same group or it could be some copycats
Unfortunately a lot of attacks have been going on and it's becoming quite apparent that gaming websites and services aren't capable of handling these attacks.
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/06/05/nintendo-hack_n_871460.html has also been hit so it's quite possible that it is the same group/person doing this or even just as I said copycats.
It's probably a few groups, but I think the police have been targeting Anonymous mostly. There's probably some political/social reason behind it, mixed with shear boredom and ego boosting, and if there's multiple groups, there's a competition there as well. Also, the information gathered can be sold off for a pretty penny.
