My apologies in advance, as I tried looking through the known glitches list and couldn't find this, but it certainly could be there anyway.

Playing the X360 version, and twice now my equipped bow has completely disappeared from my inventory. Of course it disappeared when it was not drawn, so I have no idea exactly when it happened. The two events happened at least a dozen levels apart, so they are not related by a single event. The only things I can think of that might have caused it were smithing and/or interacting with a shop. But I am 100% certain that I did not accidentally sell or drop my bow -- DEFINITELY not twice.

Known problem? Anybody seen this before and maybe know how to avoid it?

You were "disarmed"... it's a shout some of the nastier undead have. That or you're suffering from "younger sibling disorder".

Not sure about this, as I think I would have noticed it. My understanding of it is that the only time you wouldn't have noticed it is if you got caught by surprise without any weapon drawn. I know for sure that I was not (recently) surprised by any undead. As a matter of fact, I don't recall any undead using any shouts on me ever. I did recently do the "Laid to Rest" sidequest, but I killed Movarth and Alva extremely easily with stealth and a bow (the one that disappeared) from long distance.

I'm happy to just chalk this up to an annoying glitch. I was just curious if this one was commonly known.

My mage wore some boots of shock resistance just called "Boots" that you can find in the Archmage's room. After a patch, they disappeared off her feet and reappeared back there. Not sure why.
