Same problem as well, OpenGL error. Updated the drivers, updated everything windows wise, nothing. Dell Studio 1749, ATi HD 5650 and Win 7 Professional 64 Bit.

Personally, when i try to update my drivers via Steam, it sends me to the ATi website. *shrug*

Not the exact same problem as you guys, but still getting an error when opening Brink.
I updated the latest catalyst suit pack (May 9th 2011) and verified cache...
