I don't know whether this is the right forum for this, but here goes....

I started getting a weird error when starting the Creation Kit. I got the error the last two times I was able to start the app and now it's hanging.

The error seems rather ominous to me to:

Packages: TESCustomPackageData:: InitItem: custom package has no procedure tree

Would this cause the CK to hang?

I've tried what little I know to fix this, like using the Check Integrity of files option in Steam.

I'd sure hate to have to re-install everything

Any ideas?

The CK will spew errors at you when it opens, you can just click Ignore or Yes to All for them. It may then appear to freeze, but it's actually still loading. Give it another few minutes and it should finish loading and resume being responsive.

I gave it one last chance before posting here and let it run for nearly 30 minutes to be sure.
