I did the quest for this a while back, and only use it just messing around or whatever, but went to Cook cooks "hideout" while having a Stealthboy on and on every med possible and couldn't use the C finder, to be more precise, I targeted it and the Laser came down and just beeped over and over again. So Im thinking, okay well, I'll wait till it's noon or something, I put the C finder up changed to another gun and the laser was still moving everywhere I pointed...and DIDNT STOP. I have read this on other forums and seen it on youtube, but haven't seen anything on here for it. I loaded my game back up before that, erased cache+update, re updated, doesn't matter.
Now it's been about 4 real days at least, in game it's been a while weeks maybe and probably 6 levels, still can't use C-finder. Does anyone know a fix to this? I'm about to backtrack 10 hours.....and redo this freaking quest. Man I'm getting so fed up with these glitches. My hair's falling out worse then ever now =(
Seriously tho, I have beat the game with a level 30 90 hour character, and this is my 2nd level 15 around 30 hours and I've used the "best gun ever in fallout history" ONLY ONCE. Help guys.
