Ever experienced Dream Manipulation?

A small reference for people who don't know what Dream Manipulation is, it's where you are semi or almost fully conscious about what is happening in your dreams. Having this understanding then allows you to manipulate the events which happen, including your surrounding environment.

I had one of these dreams last night [I'v been going to a speciality doctor who helps treat insomnia, and she's been helping me to understand and learn Dream Manipulation], and it was not only the most relaxing sleep i'v ever had, but it was probably one of the most amazing and interesting experiences i'v yet to encounter.

Basically, I have trouble falling asleep unless I am so mentally exhausted my body shuts down. So last night when I put some to use some suggestions my Doctor gave to me, I ended up in a sleep where I don't remember anything until about half way through, where I immediately because conscious of the fact, I was dreaming, and slowly found little things I could do. One of which was pulling 'shapes' out of solid objects. Depending on the shape my fingers made when I went to 'grab' the wall, that shape would come out ,in whatever length I wanted.

Another neat thing was I could influence what happened in my dream, more so than normal. I ended up 'pinching' myself in my dream and I woke up [I got a total of about 7 hours of sleep], so ended up saying screw the day, and went back to bed. I spend the next 5-6 hours in my dream [it was basically just a continuation of the dream I woke myself up from, if anyone else has experienced that], letting it play out, interacting with it and fully understanding and remembering every single small detail of what was going on.

It wasn't a 'real-life' type dream, but more or less real-life mixed with fiction [places I don't think exist. Just made up in a sense], with a few other oddities [Don't ask me WHY Cloud and Tifa were in my dream. I ASSUME it was because I was playing Crisis Core before bed. But I immediately woke myself up, to go back to bed so they would be gone].

Needless to say, you feel a refreshing feel that I rarely ever feel after sleeping. I woke up, not tired at all, nothing. It was like I woke up, and had already been awake for 6 hours. So for me, I just called my Doctor, and set up a series of appointments to get some 'training' in how to do this sort of thing more effectively.

Anyone else experienced this, or doing a similar thing with a Doctor?
