hey folks.

i was quite happy with how NV used to run on my pc; until i logged on with steam and got a "game update" automatically. while downloading, i read about the update, and thought it'd be nifty, but it was not...

as i said, everything was fine before the update, but after, the first thing i noticed was: i can no longer switch the view to third person! the key settings are still the same, i even remapped the key to something else, but nothing... same as i can no longer "wait", the key simply doesnt work anymore.
...and, most of all, the game keeps crashing; windows will simply alert me that "fallout does no longer work anymore".

darn. i wish i'd not installed that update / disabled the automatic updates (if that's even possible), but... too late now.

does anybody know of said issues - crashes COMBINED with keys not working? is there a fix?
or, is there a way to just uninstall the update?

ps: running on windows vista, intel core 2 quad @ 2,33 GHz, 6 GB RAM, GeForce GT120 1GB, DX11, latest updates (OS, drivers) installed.
