I'm honestly not surprised especially since Bethesda removed levitation and don't want to add it back.

I imagine they are concerned about how the handle it when nearing a city that is in a seperate cell. Of course they can force you to decrease altitude when nearing such a city but you'd still see the ugliness from above.

The same can be said for anything else on the map. The gameworld just doesn't look as good from above. I know some people here have a High-End PC and they'll disagree, however most people are on both consoles or regular PCs. I personally still rather have access to levitation and accept the ugliness and lame restrictions but Bethesda has opted to choose quality of quantity when it comes to features.

I'm glad we don't have all out flight. It would break a load of dungeons.

EDIT: Increased jump and a gliding ability would be nice though.

Imagine having wings and still not reaching the roof of a cottage.

I have used x4 increased jump on PC throughout the game 4 times and have yet to skip or glitch the game. All the doors are barred or sealed from the other side, Also towns have infinite tall invisible walls. I just want this stuff to be available on Consoles

To be honest they look like over-sized Imps so hovering makes sense.

They're not Imp's.

i kinda knew we'd only be able to levitate as a vampire lord which isn't a bad thing.

Same body proportions, same proportioned wings (smaller if anything), etc. If you take an Imp and just doubled his size you wouldn't expect him to suddenly be able to fly like a bird would you?

I'd be more concerned if they will make sure Vampire Ladies get their own model instead of the copy/paste method they did with werewolves (I think there's a height difference between Lycans, though.)

Maybe a Vampire Lady transformation look like the female vampires in Van Helsing movie?

Yeah, after two games I cant help but feel that someone over there really doesnt like the wonderful freedom, emergent gameplay and utilisation of the third dimension that levitation allowed.
It makes me a sad panda :(

if they could fly i would throw away all my seething hatred for these horrible (in more ways than one) abominations. i would not even fly, i would just use it to be as agile as argonian tricksters are supposed to be

yea its disappointing but not surprising...we probably will never see any form of flight/levitation in skyrim because you can't fly in or out of citites like whiterun.

IMO it looks kind of dumb for vamp lords to hover but not really fly...this is why i'll be hunting them instead of joining them
