exe is crashing a milisecond after launch

Getting straight to it, I updated NV today with Honest Hearts (I have the GFW Disc), now Fallout NV doesn't run. Period. The launcher works fine and everything but NV itself won't run. I'm going to try running it without the mod installed but doubt it'll do anything.

Reporting back asap

EDIT: Sure enough it still crashed even with HH disabled. HALPS

It literally goes like this:

Click on "Play" on steam (I added it as a non steam game)
launches FalloutNV.exe
intro slideshow comes up
right as first slide fades in BAM crash, no error report either

Try it without going through steam
launches FalloutNV.exe
Same as above happens

Try launching through the launcher
SAME AS ABOVE HAPPENS

Hasn't failed me until now. Do I just need to download a new NV.exe?

EDIT 2: Yeah I tried even a new .exe and it STILL didn't run... I'm gonna try reinstalling HH, if that doesn't work I'm honestly stooped as to what I need to do.

inb4: update drivers, restart, run as admin, compat mode, etc. etc.

EDIT 3: Well I updated the game with the latest update (Update 6 I believe) and it works now. Gonna try running it through steam to see if progress is made.

If I understand your post correctly, you obtained HH from a Games for Windows (GFW) disc? And as such, are adding it as a 'non steam game' in steam? If this is the case, take the serial provided with the HH and add it to your FNV install via steam, inputting the serial that came with the DLC. That way steam can authenticate everything, it might be confused about you running HH as a non-steam content when FNV itself is routed through Steam.

Or am I misunderstanding you? Your FNV copy is a Steam copy, right?
