I took this quest on and went into a couple Black Books. One to beat the main quest the other Sallow Regent to beat all that I had in the inventory. When I got out i noticed the screen going blurry (vision) and my health was being drained. I thought this was from the spell that was cast on me from the quest, but when I went back to get healed there was no quest marker. So I went outside and decided to jump in the river, that is when the quest updated. I went back to be healed and he healed the negative health from touching water. But, my character still has blurry vision and draining health. I have looked at active effects and nothing is happening there and I took a potion of cure diesease just in case. What the heck can i do to get this fixed?

its probably a glitch. Save the game then try reloading it.

I did try, I have slept, fast traveled and waited. Nothing is happening. Maybe I will try it again.

So update I went back into the last book i beat and it went away. So i exited the book an everything is good! Stoked that i dont have to start all ove again!
