So I've been doing a lot of exploring all over the place and I just recently thoroughly explored Vault 22 without having any quests that are currently tied to it. I accessed the computer terminal that you have to download the information from and now I just read on The Vault that if you do this, you are unable to complete the quests tied to it, since you can't re-download the information.

(Actually, I do have the quest Still in the Dark, but I'm not far enough along the quest to need to go to Vault 22)

Is it possible that this could be fixed in an upcoming patch? Or do you think I'm stuck out of these quests forever?

Once you download the info on your pip-boy, you can always go back later to use it provided you talked to the right people to trigger the quest related to that info. Depending on your path, once you have the info, you might not have to return to Vault 22.
