I'm doing the Vault 19 quest ("Why Can't We Be Friends?"), and as I'm doing an NCR playthrough I wanted to side with Lem. This requires an Explosives skill of 60. Trouble is, I'm TWO points short. With 10 PE (hard points + headwear+ Mentats) and a Patriot's Cookbook, I hit exactly 58, and it's bloody frustrating. The only piece of apparel that could be of any help is a Raider Blastmaster helmet, but I'll be damned if I know where to get one. Fiends don't seem to EVER drop it.

Does anyone have any ideas for how I could pick up these remaining 2 points of Explosives?

Wiki says it is occasionally sold by Barton. Use the reload method until he carries it. If I get a chance, I'll check the GECK to verify it and give you an idea of what your chances are.

Edit: I just checked and he does carry it. There is an incredibly small chance though. I'ts one of a large list of armors that he has a chance to spawn only one of each reset. Good luck.

edit: I think your best bet is the Duck and Cover! at Nellis Air Force base, the thing is so hard to see that I highly doubt you actually got it (unless you used the wiki to get it)
