Anyone else feel that dynamite is complete [censored]? I throw it and people just side step it and keep rushing me, you can't "cook" the dynamite to explode on impact etc. Long fuse dynamite is even more stupid. Who's idea was long fuse dynamite? wtf is it for!?!?!?

Also, it seems like time bombs are worthless, lots of materials for nothing really. Not sure what a powder charge does yet, I have not thrown it yet.

Frag nades however are still pretty good.

What do you guys think of explosives?

All I''ve made use of so far is frag mines and they work beautifully, if a little underwhelming for my taste. I found they had a great effect on the nightkin, especially when you were running around using a stealthboy yourself. I agree that dynamite is pointless.

how so? It rarely hits in VATS because of its long exploding time. also.. long fuse dynamite is worthless.. whats the point? can you convert it into normal dynamite?

There's your problem.

Don't use VATS with dynamite, you'll have better luck if you learn to toss it yourself. *

Same with frags, really.

* - exceptions - standing-still targets, especially while you are above - it usually lands on them, (scoring you a 0-damage sneak critical, lol) and drops to their feet... then booms ensue.

When I throw dynamite at people outside of vats they just side step it.. and they side step at just the right distance to dodge the blast radius.. seems kind of unnatural if you ask me... GAWDDAMMIT CHEATING NPCS!
