Hello, I am requesting help. The day before New Vegas was released me and my had a bet, I said i'd get Platinum trophy first(All achievements), I must say i'm doing quite well, he needs about 13 trophies I need 2, you now have probably guessed what these 2 trophies are, 10,000 damage with explosives and 10,000 HP with food. I have question for explosives, does the flamer count towards explosives, if so i'm sorted but I need to know and secondly does anybody have any tips, hints or easy ways to get the survival trophy, because quite frankly I don't have the time and patience to do it.

Flamer is an Energy Weapon IIRC. Just go with grenades or mines. The Missile Launcher and the Fatman count towards explosives. The various grenade guns to. And just eat food when your down on HP. Easy.

If you choose the cannibal perk(s) does that count towards 10,000 with food and does survival influence it?

Get a grenade machinegun from mick & ralphs and 25mm HE grenades from Gun Runners. Also get the high speed weapon mod for the GMG. You'll be tearing through Cazadors like paper.

If you've got a decent survival make desert salads and gecko kebabs, both of those heal a lot of damage (especially the salad). Then there's the wasteland omlette that heals like 500 health or something but you need a deathclaw egg to make it (talk to the chick in sloan for the recipe).
