Exterior Cell Problems Landscape Glitches

Hey everybody,

After working with a new exterior worldspace for a while, I've experienced several terrain glitches as shown in these linked screenshots:

It appears the cell loads at a very low or very high height, or in some cases seems to simply disappear (it may be just placed so low that I can't
find it).

This occurred after a couple saves, and it seems to be getting progressively worse each time I load the landscape.

I've done quite a bit of searching on these & a few other forums for corrections but I haven't found a solution.

Is this linked to height mapping?
Is it possible to fix this problem and salvage what I currently have or will I have to generate a new worldspace? How do I avoid this problem in the future?
If a thread already exists, please provide me with a link.

Thanks!

Sorry the links aren't clickable, I "don't have permission to post links" apparently...

I guess no one else has ever had this problem?

I ended up "solving" the problem by creating a new worldspace and then raising as much terrain as possible to a certain height and I haven't experienced breaking terrain for a while. It seems like terrain that has been
modified with the landscape tool doesn't break. I dragged the placeables from the old worldspace which salvaged a good deal of work, however I have no idea why flat default terrain cells glitched out so much.

Cant view your pics but you get odd floating cells after running the LOD texture generation as it does odd things to your heightmap
