Extra Lucky 38 Improvements?

Post » Mon Feb 14, 2011 6:16 am

After spending many a day wandering the Mojave, and fuffiling the demands of certain factions (specifically Mr. House); I have grown to wonder if there is anything the Courier can do to improve the Lucky 38. I've purchased all the Presidential Suite extras, yet the Cocktail Lounge and Casino are both dismally dark and boring. I tried installing the Override Chip at the Power Station near Helios One, but it only appeared brighter on the exterior.
I find it a shame that such a massive building is dark and empty on the inside.
Another issue I have is that when I turn on my radio(s) in the Presidential Suite, all I get is a white noise effect. Is this supposed to happen; and if so, why can't I drown out the depressing sound effects in the background with the beautiful sound of pre-great war music?

I believe that's a designer choice and there's really nothing you can do about it. You can try modding if you have the know how or request a mod.

While I can not provide any further advice to your question, I just wished to say: Does anyone think it's based a little too strongly on the Seattle Needle?

Having said that, I still enjoy it's architecture, it's an outstanding building to see if your from afar in the Mojave.

It is(correct me if I'm wrong) the home of Mr House. But I wish the other parts of vegas got more attention. It's a bit underwhelming...

If my PC had the specs to perform HW T&L. Shame.

Anyway, I've seen a few mods around adding to the presidential suite. Sounds like there might be a few cool upgrades in the future.

There used to be a hotel in Las Vegas based on The Seattle Needle, I believe it was called the Landmark. It was destroyed about 15 or 20 years ago.
