After 30min to 1hour or more the game load screens become nearly 3 times longer then normal making the game almost unplayable

It's very frustrating and need to be patch like soon as in to now!

Here recently in my game the load times have become a lot longer than what they usually were. I'm about 60 hours in. It's nothing unbearable, just annoying. I'm hoping there's some sort of patch for this, but who knows.

There's this big silver button in the middle of your Xbox controller, if you hold it down long enough, you can turn off the console without even standing up!!!

It's true suddenly increasing load screens are a bit annoying, but if you're going to go on a multi-hour New Vegas bender what's two minutes to reboot your console. You'll save more time than waiting for the now-extended loading screens.

Installing the game to your hard drive helps make the loading screens shorter as well.

I heard PS3 have this issue as well so it's not a hardware issue but something to do with coding in the game itself

But I think it has something to do with the temporary cache memory not resting so it stacks up instead thus causing long load screens

It's also caused by going in and out of close together load zones.. so if your on the strip..(basically all of zone 2) and running back and forth or doing a lot of fast travel load times will increase a bit. Save often... if you start to get a lot of jitters in your game most likely it's about ready to crash.. re-start the box. In other zones the long load zone thing happens less frequently allowing longer play sessions. F3 and Oblivion had this problem also.. It's basically the game engine.

Loading screens get super long after a while. Just save, quit to dashboard and start the game back up.

One of the numerous bugs bundled in with this bugfest of a game, i fixed this by installing it to the hard drive. But then i got the dlc error so i got bummed anyway

This and if you get some frame drops try deleting the system cache and downloading the patch again. The screen transitions should only take a few seconds.
