It sure would be nice if Bethesda makes Skyrim work with triple monitor gaming, without need to for hacks or work arounds. Does anyone know if this is the case?
As an eyefinity (3*1 monitors) user, I would very much like it if Beth released an update that allowed support for multi monitor setups in Skyrim.
I am aware that there are 'mods' available that are made by third parties and allow multimonitors to work correctly with Skyrim - those mods fix issues such as menu / UI / map scaling with multi monitor setups.
I am also aware that each time Beth releases a PC update, those 'mods' become unusable - a negative person could suggest that Beth are deliberately breaking the 'mods' but I find this unlikely.
A question is raised though; if third party 'modders' can 'mod' the game to allow multi monitor support, why can Bethesda not release an upgrade to allow such support?
Before I am flamed for this post with suggestions that I am whinging or full of hate for Bethesda, I would like to point out that I am not either. Skyrim is a great game with a lot of potential that I enjoy playing and Bethesda, although some are suggesting they have 'dropped the ball', seem to be considering gamers across the platforms quite well and fixing the issues 'on the go'.
Most of the issues some peolpe seem to be having, across the platforms, seem to be 'teething problems'. Hopefully, sooner rather than later, all the issues will be corrected.
