Facegen data: How to get it and manipulate it in-game?

Post » Wed Jun 20, 2012 8:41 am

The game seems to recognize (obviously) Facegen information for the character and npcs, but I was wondering:

Is there any way to get which Facegen details a npc (or pc) has in-game?

There's any way to use this information to change another character ("transmuting" their face to that detail)?

It seems that in previous games this was possible, but would be nice to understand how it's possible in Skyrim (especially IF it's possible!)...

Thanks,
Jashkar

I believe that the only access you have to such data ingame is the players face through the character menu, and that's all hard coded. :/

You can exchange an NPC head mesh info with another if thats what your mean.

You can use my editor http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=4554, sorry shameless self promotion. (Was searching for something else and came upon this.)

And the CK to do that. Or recreate any new facegen mesh you want.

No, you can't. I believe the SKSE team is trying to make a function to Get/Set face's though.
