Factionional Duster : Fallout: New Vegas

So I'm a little pissed that my Courier Duster has NCR on its back instead of Yes-mans or House, and would like to know if I can change whats on the back after obtaining it...

What determines the Duster model exactly?

Is it How far along you are in the main quest for each faction or Reputation?

Direct reputation with factions, if I remember right The Strip faction dictates if you side with house, NCR and Legion dictate if you side with them.

If NCR/Legion are the same rating as The Strip, then NCR/Legion overrides that faction apparantly, still a bit pissed about that. :sadvaultboy:

Well thats dumb. It would've made more sense if they were tied, it would ask which you want :\

I agree, but this is why I'm wondering if I can change my duster from NCR to Yes-man/House's duster.
