Fading HUD option : V

Now, I swear I've seen this option in the gameplay settings but for some reason now it's not there?

That or I'm going crazy.. either or..

Suggestions?

Hud fades(the bars) as the default design. There is a hud opacity slider though.

In the options menu it is under the display submenu.
