All my followers make remarks about me running around naked. The funniest is them asking if I'm a barbarian.

I sacrificed Faendal to Boethiah early on in the game.

I was recently doing a companion quest with Vilkas, and he was shouting for help just outside of Whiterun, when nothing was attacking us, or even hostile. Vilkas shouting for someone to come rescue him didn't sound right by itself, as he's a big two-handed warrior and a member of the Circle.

I run into this with followers while using the UFO Horses mod, if there is a follower horse available they will ride when I ride. However they will not dismount unless I dismount, and that includes when we are attacked (the only exception so far being Ulfric, who was separately modded in as a follower, that's probably why).

So if we are riding along and get attacked by so much as a skeever I will hear my follower behind me going "help... somebody do something." It's kinda funny, especially when it's someone like Marcurio who could take out a charging Skeever at 40 paces with one bolt of lightning if he weren't glued to his saddle.

No idea why Vilkas would do that, though, if he's just standing there. Maybe he was sleepwalking and dreaming that Njada had him cornered in a broom closet and was trying to hit on him.

He did that when I did dragon seekers with him and a dragon (not the one we we're supposed to kill, he got a 2-for-1 deal ;)) started circling above. Since that VA does like 500 voices in the game I first thought it was someone else, but no one was around. So I was like wtf happened to big, tough Vilkas? Then the dragon attacked, and he was his usual self again, happily plunging himself into battle.

Btw, I've heard that "look a cave" comment, too (not from Faendal, though), when we're outside a cave we've already cleared.

Exactly! Faendal is awesome! I use the Better Followers mod that turns him into an Arcane Archer doing magic damage with conjured arrows and he wreaks most everything by peppering them with arrows. He's very quiet for a follower though, only comments on discovering new locations from time to time and in battle but that's it.

Haha, have the same thing happen to me, using the same mods. Marcurio goes "help!" or "I'm getting out of here!" then Ulfric goes All Caps rage on a poor skeever : “Do you want me to close my eyes? Would that even things up a bit?”
