Faendal=Wimp!

My husband I died laughing. He came back when the dragon was almost dead, but still, got a good laugh out of that.

He really said that?

I think he's pretty tough, especially for an early potential follower. Not sure what his training Rank in Archery is, but I bet it reflects his power. He must be an expert trainer, at least.

I'd heard someone else on here say the same thing about the follower from Morthal. Never saw this for myself, but it sounds hilarious! Funny that some followers will chicken out against a dragon, but townsfolk nearby will sometimes keep attacking it to the death.

Maybe the game does a level check for companions? They freeze at the level the player gets them the first time and don't scale up.

The follower from Morthal is one of the mob who accompany you to the vampire den but chicken out when you get there.
That plus when I asked him what he did he told me he hung around with the guards but they wouldn't let him join left me distinctly unimpressed.
I think my current character will hire him, take him somewhere there aren't any witnesses, then feed him to the Ebony Blade

That guy that follows after a fistfight, right?

Funnily, I tried to recruit him. And as we were fighting, suddenly a dragon came into the town. The whole town is panicking, and this guy kept punching me. I had to cut him down. Idiot. Luckily I wasn't arrested. His corpse just laid there for awhile, while the two little kids just stood around and gawked.

Then it fits his character I suppose, he has a reputation for being a coward :D. He's one of those followers who you brawl with and can have join you upon winning.

It'd be even more hilarious if the follower was a member of the Blades when this happened.
"Dragons?! You didn't tell me I'd have to fight dragons! I just signed up for the cool armor, I don't want to die!" *runs off*

Or, upon seeing a fellow Blade get snatched up in a dragons jaws, "They're eating her! And then they're going to eat me! Oh my Gawwwwwwwwwwds!"
:P (Let's see if anyone gets the reference)

I had the same thing happen with J'zargo, except he said, "We are routed! Fall back!" he then ran away with his tail between his legs.

When the dragon was almost dead, he came back just in time to punch it to death.

I think he was just being a lazy khajit and wanted to take all the glory in the end without all the work. >:3

Well I took him through bleakfalls burrow with me last night at level 25 I really didnt expect him to live but he did, so I guess he is going dragon figting today. If he runs he is going to see Boethiah later that night. If he meets with an Honorable death with the Dragon or lives ha can continue to be my lacky.

That happened to me, except I drew my weapon (to go fight the dragon) and he did the same and started attacking me. I just reloaded, killed the dragon and then went to talk to him.

That's funny. I personally saw Faendal fighting a dragon and getting killed by it. The thing is that I hadn't asked him to follow me at that time; he was on his own and he fought courageously.
