Can someone tell me why he's attacking me?

I went to meet him to get cured and he started attacking me for no reason!!!!

Check your Vampirism level. If you're a level four vampire, all NPC's will attack you on sight.

But I was doing the quest to be cured like I have done a million times!!!

But I thought I could be cured at any lvl

I'm at 4!

I have a question about Falion. Does anyone know what he is doin out in the marshes at night? He says he is keeping it "safe" but he says it very ominously. It looked like he was sacrificing rabbits too. Maybe he is performing sacrifices to appease some demon or deadra that lives in the marshes. Possible future DLC?

must be the lvl of vampiracy. at lvl 3 people attack you on site, or is it lvl 4

What was he doing exactly? Maybe he's just watching for vampires and making rabbit stew? lol All I know is the conjurer professor at the college, Phinis Gestor, remarks that he was his mentor. And he's married to the innkeeper. Seems like an odd guy but sometimes NPCs do just keep odd hours, as you find out when you marry one.

Go drink some blood to get back to stage 1.

The innkeeper is his sister, iirc.

He's an 'expert' in vampirism, and a well traveled mage and scholar. I think maybe he's doing something about Morvarth?

Oh, that could be. I just assumed. She mentions moving there because Falion wanted to.

The wiki does say she's his sister.

I thought she was his wife too, because he has a little girl, but apparently she's someone he adopted because her parents are dead. (Wonder if they are dead because of something to do with vampires? Maybe they were vampires and Falion killed them?).
