Fallout NV Achievements fail on steam

The Fallout New Vegas Achievement system is a fail it worked for awhile but decided to stop
For example:Achievement for Ol Buddy Ol Pal

I think i liked GFWL better than Steam.

Did you use the console at all?

Using the console disables achievements for that session. Saving, exiting the game and reloading reactivates them.



At least Steam acheivements don't crash the game when they try to register like the GFWL achivements sometimes did especially for Operation Anchorage.
