Ever since your "update" i crash in many places over and over. Going into the terminal at the airport. I tried verifying i tried patching my drivers. its driving me nuts that i can't play the game i bought anymore.
I don't expect to be given everything but the fact the game is now busted its kind of messed up.

DO you use any mods?

Pure vanilla. No mods no addons except the DLC.

I blame shoddy coding because these issues only came up AFTER the so called update and i'm really starting to get mad. I want retribution for this. I buy a game and this company goes and BREAKS it. i haven't been able to finish the game itself due to the amount of bugs that infest this game

Could be a saved game issue. Hvae you tried an earlier save or a new game?

I'm just gonna start from scratch and hope for the best. this svcks i got far and i had so many nice things only for it to be taken away.

Have you tried to restore a backup save. These have the .bak extension on your save files. Or revert to an earlier one?
How many saves do you have? Cleaning out your save folder has helped some people. Sorry to hear your havin issues.
Ive had to revert to older saves before so I know its a pain in the azz.

anytime i got to 20 saves i would move them out of the folder to back them up but most of my saves seem to still be messed up. One big one is when i go to that airport anytime i get close to the terminal door BAM fallout goes down.

I even setup comparability with windows XP service pack 3 in the .exe like someone suggested.

I run windows 7 64-bit

nvidia 9500GT and i keep drivers up to date as much as i can.

I can not play New Vegas anymore either, it really, really svcks. It crashes to desktop every 5 minutes or so, or almost every time I save.
I have tried everything from removing mods to going back to earlier saves. (Playing earlier saves without mods won't help either, crashes frequently)
I never had much trouble, until the new "patch" came along and messed it all up. I really wanted to play honest hearts too...

I'm hoping for a downgrade patch... is it possible to somehow downgrade to 1.2 or earlier version?

This is usually save-related.

Do you overwrite save files, or make a new one AND delete the old one?

Also, how many save files do you have?

I had a bunch, I cleared the saves folder... I left the latest save file only. No luck... still crashes. 1-2 minutes into the game randomly, or every time I try to save.
God this svcks. I never had such luck with FO3, or any other game. I will possibly try and re-install, but I doubt it will help.
