Just want to see what Fallout fans think of Rage, and how it may influence future games in the FO series. Personally I think Rage looks fantastic, but I do NOT want FO to become to much like any other shooter or get lighter on RPG elements. That said, the devs could learn a bit about improving the shooting aspect of future titles. Not sure if it's ok to post this type of thread, but I read the forum rules and didn't see anything against it. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Edit: what I mean regarding improving the shooter aspect of the game, is simply making it a bit more fluid and less clumsy (at least it felt a little clumsy for me). That said Beth will probably improve it in their own way independant of any outside influence.

I want that post-nuclear Borderlands to stay the hell away from Fallout, it has enough shooter elements.

I like fallout's combat the way it is. It isn't always a shooter, so I don't want it to be more shootery.

I think Rage looks great but I'm not that interested in it.

I think Rage looks like borderlands, but with a stronger focus on generic shooter gameplay.

Except Rage has been in development since before Borderlands was.

Well yes, the shooting mechanic should be less clumsy. They can add dynamic crosshairs, recoil, better animations, etc. but the shooting should still be mainly governed by skill. Anyway, I'm probably getting Rage. It looks pretty good.

I think the first thing you should know is that fallout fans rage began to develop first fallout 3. And if you want to argue that such copies for then I will say that I copy doom fallout and I won the battle
