Fallout Fans Rejoice

Since reading the magazine previews, , I am even more excited for New Vegas then I was for Fallout 3. Ever since I read that Obsidion, with Fallout 2 alumni involved, I've thought to myself, "This could be even better than #3."

It appears that in addition to revamping the conversation mechanics, and follower control scheme, they've added mods for weapons and area reputation, reminiscant of Fallout 2. For me, the Area reps were FO2's highlight, it took itself less seriously, but added much in the way of content, and the reps were a solid way to chronicle how you were viewed in every town/city. And people reacted to it, you could go to a town, [censored] up and have to town hate your guts, sneak out, come back sometime later, and they will still attack you.

All I need is confirmation that the .223 pistol will be coming into play, and I will cry pure tears of Fallout joy.

Yeah, it's still FO3 but now they have a chance to fix some of the flaws FO3 had :)

Really? I specifically didn't link to them or attempt to transcribe them, just said they existed. I read the Scans Sticky before posting to try and stay within the rules.

Also, forgot to mention, there will be a hardcoe mode, with hydration a factor as the game takes place in the desert, and weight for bullets. Also, stimpacks will not heal broken limbs. Sounds awesome, for replay value, as the "enemies weapons do more damage and yours do less" difficulty settings were kinda weak.

Obviously you have not read through the posts on this forum as all you say has been mentioned - several times.

As for discussing and pointing to the scans - you are living on the edge. :stare:
