Wouldn't it be awesome if they did an horror of Fallout??
Uh, no.
Keep everything the same, just more spooky.
Pick a side of the fence and stay on it already...you want "the same" or "more spooky?"
More to the point- you want a Fallout game, or YAZSEU (Yet Another Zombie Shoot-Em-Up) with power armor and Fallout stamped on the box?
I always wonder where this simple fact gets lost: What makes
any game great is that it is its own game, and not
some other game with a couple of minor details to try and pretend it's part of a different series. Fallout: Zombie Apocalypse, no matter what you do, is still just another zombie game clone marinated in Fallout-flavored broth. Fallout Kart, no matter what you do, is still just a Fallout-flavored Mario Kart wannabe.
Yes I'm ranting, svck it up. I'm just tired of game after game after game falling prey to the following cycle: Due to popular demand, devs try to make Game A just like Game B. Result? Fans of Game A (often as not including the people who yelled about how "kewl" it would be if A was more like B...) stomp off in disgust that "their" game is now a watered-down Game B wannabe. And for the final "What the...?!"- they then run off to another game, cheer for about 2 installments of said game about how "original" it is, then start over again at "But you know, wouldn't it be cool if it was more like..."
Here's a phenomenal idea: let's
(wait for it....) let Fallout be
Fallout. How's
that for an amazing flash of inspiration, eh?
EDIT: Oh, and in case I didn't let my inner curmudgeon fully off the leash before- what the [censored] does this have to do with New Vegas anyhow?
