Umm, no, that kinda defeats the point of it. It was that way with DR (Max you could get was 85%) Do you understand what DT is? If You have 10dt, and I have a bat that does 4 dmg, it does NOTHING to you. If it just did less damage, it would be called DR, not DT. They have to have some better armors that provide a high amount of DT, making only rockets or grenades usefull against you.

They have to have some better armors that provide a high amount of DT, making only rockets or grenades usefull against you.

It was confirmed some time ago on a thread regarding DT and DR that there is only DT in the game and that no matter how high your DT is a percentage of damage always gets through. I can't recall the exact percentage though.
