Can you gain a special point in game? Like you had 7 Strength and then you did _________ or got a trait and now you have 8 Strength?

- How much is third person improved since not everyone wants to play it in first?
- How big is the map size in km2/mi2 actually?
- Have the physics completely remained the same from Fallout 3 to F:NV or did you improve those as well?
- What about invisible walls? Are they still there? (except for the edge of the map of course)
- How many songs will be in the final game?
- Any idea when the updated G.E.C.K. will be released?
- Will mods made for Fallout 3 still be of use in F:NV?
- Can you give us a slight hint of which kind of DLC you have in mind? (I understand you can't give us details, but just the direction you would like to go with it)
- When talking about DLC, is there also a slight chance we'll get to see an expansion?
- What about the Omerta, why is there so little info about them? Are they a neglectable side faction?
- Is there a way to avoid and finish the game without having to join the major factions?

That should be about it, when I think of something else, I'll edit my post.

what have you guys done to combat the game becoming extremely easy towards the end of the game and vats only being used for headshots?

will barter and a couple other skills become useless towards the middle of the game again like in FO 3 or is there a system in which will make barter always useful?

Will I still be able to accidentally destroy unique weapons and armor by repairing their non-unique counterparts with an unique weapon/armor?

From Fallout 3 experience... The scope "sway" is reduced to absolutely none when you reach 100 small guns skills.

And there were surgeons and barbers scattered all around the wastes, so I'm fairly sure they're back too.

How will SPECIAL be more effective in this game

S- Str requirements for weapons
P-nothing new that I've heard?
E- Survival meters will last longer I think or is that just survival?
C- Better Companions/Nerve
I- Anything to improve skill point distribution system and make INT less of a god send?
A- Faster reload and drawing weapons and more Action points
L- Luck at gambling


Anything else that will make SPECIAL more trying to pick and make stats more balanced?

What I liked about Fallout 3 was how well it made me suspend disbelief. The game was done incredibly well. It svcked me into the reality enough to make me miss the game after not playing for a while. I really enjoyed that post apocalyptic setting and hearing it isn't in New Vegas saddens me. I hope New Vegas creates something so great that I'll be happy it was dropped.

So for my dev question:

What were the main languages you used when coding the game?

1. How many DLCs are you planning to release?

2. Will these cantain any new perks?

3. About the pre-order bonus packs: Are you planning to release a boundle pack with all of them or is Pre-Order a one-in-a-life-time chance to obtain them?

BTW. The perks revealed so far look relly cool, they have many pop-culture references and each of them seems very useful.
Thank you that you did not base them on increasing the weapon damage only :foodndrink:

Perception, IIRC, boosts accuracy.

Understandably, there will be no coop or multiplayer support.
However, will there be any in game interfaces (particularly for consoles) that will allow players to compair character stats (i.e. enemies killed / % completion / faction alliances / gambling winnings / etc.)?

Will we be able to influence any of the factions in terms of good and evil? As an example, if I play a moral character and discover that the NCR is corrupt, may I seek to reform it?
