Fallout: New Vegas - (SPOILERS)

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 3:47 am

I rewatched and looked at the details for the cattleprod,
EFFECTS Inflicts Fatigue Damage (KO)

Sounds like a strange way of putting it. I read that and thought he was beating the guy to sleep

Also saw "Grilled Mantis" on the shelf

It is exactly like beating the guy to sleep (Knock Out), it is a non lethal weapon, you can whack him once and leg it, continued whacking may result in death :)

Then I was spot on

Now I'm simply curious as to how long they will stay knocked out. I'd guess it'd be either a really long time limit or until you leave the area.

Seems like one of the gamblers in there has earned super powers and can walk on air.
Cattle prod probably has a 10-20% chance of knockdown for a couple of seconds.
The meat that they were barbecuing looked tasty.
His son is a complete jerk huh? I think I'm going to like him.
Securitrons looked and talked real nice.
Ultra-luxe looks like it might be my favorite casino.
The girl who was interviewing him was foxy.

Charming as usual Gabe.
It seems her super powers were short lived.
Steak dinner, anyone interested?
I'm not stressing the bug too much.

Pissed off captive greeting you sincerely and then proceeding to yell at you?
Robot shakng terribly after scripted animation?

That's just from what I can remember... It's still no better than Fallout 3. Maybe even a little worse in spots.

These problems both persisted in Fallout 3 (like when Charon kills Azrukal) and neither were all that annoying at all. A minor nit pick at best.

This game is massive. If you honestly expect it to be 100% bug free, then you are insane.

Unintentional Funny bug there, made my day. Quest Looks good. I wonder what's the opposite way of finishing that quest. Maybe telling Heck what Mortimer did.

I wonder how you complete this the good way, because Ted runs away, how would you save him?

The game may set a hostility status depending on how you start the quest. IE: Starting it the 'good' way makes him an ally, starting it the 'bad' way makes him an enemy.

Alternately, doing the mission the 'good' way may simply present some dialogue options when you meet him to prevent him from turning hostile.

There are a number of ways it could be done.

I think it depends on how you proceed, maybe you can say something to him if you didn't get the quest from the maitre d' and instead just proceed from the rancher.

This quest, no matter how much I rewatch it, causes me to cringe in depression. :cryvaultboy:

I do hope there is a Good way to see it through x_x
