Falmer Armor - Super Rare

Post » Sun Jun 03, 2012 11:18 am

OK, I could've sworn that the 1st place I started seeing Falmer every other one of them had lootable armor pieces on them like Forsworn or Bandits (ie not every one of them with full sets, but you could get a full set by killing 2 or 3). Of course, believing that every 2 or 3 of them would yield a complete set I either left them or I may have brought them back and sold them. Now that I wanted a set to improve I could only find the one set that's in Mzinchaleft Depths on the table.

Every Falmer I've killed lately only has the shield and helm lootable (even though the Skulkers, Gloomlurkers and Shadowmasters seem to be wearing full sets). Is this what most of y'all experience or is my game acting buggy? :o

Most of the armor that I have found has been Shields and Helmets. I have found the Armor in Blackreach, but the set in Mzinchaleft is the only place with Boots and Gauntlets.

So I'm misremembering then? That's the only place to get the Boots and Gauntlets? :o

Only place to get it, but you do get a full set. Also if you want more than one set, say for enchantment later, don't clear the ruin. You can return after several in-game days, not sure how many, and there will be another full set there. Also more falmer, and charus to get chitin off of.

If you own a house with a dummy in it, just duplicate the set.

I hate the helmet. It's made for the blind. I'm suprised I can still see in it. Plus the boots leave your feet bare. I think I got a full set doing the quest for Cacelmo that involves retrieving some dwarven expedition journals.

Ooooo, yeah...I forgot about that. I'll have to look that up - I saw it somewhere. I think I'll replicate it before I enchant it so I can Enchant one set for 2-H and one for Sword and Board. Thanks.

Frostflow? Where? I missed it.

I want a $lutty set of Light (Forsaken) and Heavy for if/when I use female followers - theKarnage gets it. Alas, I'm juvenile.

If it's any consolation: I Smithed both sets to Legendary (I was kinda' shocked at how good the Falmer stuff is when upgraded.) and will double Enchant them. The chicks will be protected - it's not like I've got Clover running around in Naughty Sleepwear. :nono:

Thanks for this thread! I remember having seen the full set on a table somewhere but didn't remember where.

A bit off the topic; let me share an anecdote: I was walking around in the department store in which I work in security with a christian fundamentalist colleague of mine. When we passed the gym I nodded to a girl who was working there. "Do you know her", asked my colleague. "No, I don't", I replied, "But I would like to. In strictly biblical sense, of course". I enjoyed watching my colleague's face turn red once the realisation dawned upon him.

To answer the "Why on earth would want that ugly armor" questions....maybe, like me, the OP is a collection junkie...gotta have a full set of every type of armor..for display. Lol. And maybe it was random..but I got the whole set under Frostflow Lighthouse, it was setting on a rock or slab of a dwemer ruin pillar...I forgot. But I know I got a full set there, I MAY have had to get the helmet off a dead falmer...been awhile since I did the quest.

Okay, so I just found out that I infact found the full set in Mzinchaleft, doing the quest to retrieve the Grimserver for Mojoll The Lioness. The Calcelmo quest apparently only had full set of dwarven Armour.

The nostril and the earlobe force.

Or play with your eyes closed.

Unless you are a high elf that sees through their nipbles.

Now that would be immersive.

I'm sorry, nipbles are covered.
