Was half-asleep however I turned on the TV to advltswim on cartoon network where it was airing Family Guy. It was the episode "A Picture Is Worth a 1,000 Bucks" where the family goes to New York because chris has a gift for creating artwork. It is during the episode that the snooty art guy (Monatti I think) says there's no real art it's just all about fame.
This has me a bit curious dealing with fame vs art and which one plays a more importantly role. Does fame corrupt an artist's work and only fame supports their work when it is progresses to the point that it's garbage?
