Famous buildings

Post » Sun Mar 06, 2011 5:31 pm

Hello,

I have a question about the buildings in Fallout: New Vegas.
Are there any buildings in game that have an huge resemblance to buildings in the real Las Vegas?

Thank you for your answer!

Well, some people think the Lucky 38 is based on the Stratosphere, but it's actually supposed to be a roullette wheel.

Nellis Airforce Base, Hoover Dam, Goodsprings, Primm, Nipton, Nelson, McCarran Airport are real locations.

I'm sure there are a few others but I cant think of other places off the top of my hat.

I dont know why people keep saying it does, it resembles it nothing more than being tall and white IMO. The L38 resembles a Roullette spinner way more, which is what its meant to.

But it's tall and white, see...the fact that the shape is entirely different is totally irrelevant. Get with the program already, it's tall and it's white therefore it's the same! :stare:

Sadly, no, the devs even said in an early vid that it was based on a roulette wheel.

The gommorrah reminds me of half The Dunes half Mirage (the flames out front).

The Tops is probably a mix up of Circus Circus and the Sands (the "big top" and the front entrance, plus the fact the sands is where the rat pack played, Tommy Torini is a dead ringer for Sammy Davis Jr.).
