I don't think there a topic where people can submit artwork, I did search. Anyway does anyone have any good artwork where Jack is fighting some ****. I want something like that as a wallpaper.

I can render one for you. What would you like? Jack fighting on the ship or something? Just write down what you want, also, what attire you want him in, what weapon, who's with him, etc and I'll see what I can do.

Good idea on the wallpaper. I'll pin this topic so people can easily get wallpaper, art, etc.

I only have one on me, when I get home, I'll make plenty of new ones. Unfortunately, I won't be home till next month, but for those that didn't see it, enjoy...http://img246.imageshack.us/img246/7762/coopsc1.jpgJack Walters model and Springfield rifle, along with textures created by Neil Venter. © Bethesda/Headfirst. Feel free to mutilate the picture to however you wish, use the magic wand tool in photoshop perhaps to place him in an environment, until I get home, I'll start making STACKS of renders, you guys just wait, I've got some surprises instore for all. Heck, I might even do custom render requests. ;)

Off course I only modeled and textured the gun, not the character.

MOst of the insanity effects are actually done by code, such as what we call screen-polys, which was what is used to create the vertigo effect for example. I did do some stuff for insanity effects, but again, it is such a group effort that no one individual could take credit for it.

Well, I am not a coder on that project, but I don't believe that was too hard.

I believe a majority but not all of the sanity effects were shaders, and bloody-well written ones at that. I must try and view them sometime.

if you like one, I can go and find a big format version of it for you to print out yourself at one of those photo print places, or if you have a snazzy printer at home.

I like your POE art, uses it as wallpaper now. It have a nice dark and mystic atmosphere. Its makes my somewhat crazy mindset cosy and relieved.

This isn't my art, but it is quite spectacular. I just bought this to adorn my house.http://www.forbiddenplanet.co.uk/images/2008/February/8/A5345.jpgI'm not sure where I'll put it yet, or even how big it actually is. I'd hazard a guess at around 12 inches, but frankly, given the amount of information the website seem to want to hand over, it could be to scale or even 4 inches high. I'm pretty sure I'll be happy with it, even if I do have to put it in the back garden to terrorize les chats.

Here http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k212/Janos_Audren/DSCF6624.jpg, 12" high and around 12" wide - taking the expansve wingspan into account, of course. I just need to find somewhere to place him now. The detail on it is very well painted, and worth every penny in my opinon, sadly the somewhat unfortunate genitalia seems to attract more attention than the detailed paint job. He also seems to have a mild smoking habit, which was omitted from the website's description :PThankfully he wasn't to scale, that was my biggest concern after picking up the Chaosum's rule book in Waterstone's and seeing the size comparison chart. This guy positively dwarfs Dagon, who seems to have no problem capsizing large maritime vessels and swallowing burly sailors whole. I can just perch him somewhere now without having to worry about the neighbourhood. Frankly it would probably better with Cthulhu as mayor anyway.
